Guilherme Augusto Zagatti is a PhD student at the Institute of Data Science (IDS) in the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a recipient of the Integrative Sciences and Engineering Programme (ISEP) scholarship. His main research interest is temporal point process (TPP). He has shared his research at various conferences, including DEXA, IEEE MDM, and JuliaCon. Prior to his PhD, Guilherme worked as a data scientist at Flowminder, developing analytical toolkits and conducting socio-economic research for poverty mapping and mobility analysis. He also served as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow in Eswatini’s Ministry of Economic Planning and Development. Guilherme holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics.
